South Australia has got it all! If you haven't been before, thiswill be a wonderful introduction. We'll meander through the Adelaide Hills and Barossa Valley - learning about SA's fibre and building history, meeting interesting artisans, indulging in food, wine and more.
All within a couple of hours from mainstreet Adelaide - gotta love that!
Friday 19th October : 1.30pm - Meet with your travel companions in Adelaide CBD (meeting place to be advised) and we're off to the country stopping off at the historical town of Handhorf.
Accommodation overnight in the Adelaide Hills.
Saturday 20th October: After breakfast we will depart for Anlaby- the home of the oldest Merino Stud in South Australia. We've also arranged for a tour of the fabulous house and garden, with lunch and some more learnings about the farm.
We'll indulge in some country hospitality and other offerings and then travel to our accommodation in the Barossa Valley.
Sunday 21st October: Breakfast and a visit to
the Jam Factory, a wonderful space supporting an eclectic group of local artisans producing amazing things.
What's a visit to Barossa without some wine tasting? At Seppeltsfield we'll be introduced to some beautiful wines and then enjoy lunch at a vineyard.
Make our way back towards the city where we'll check in at our accommodation and enjoy the evening with some alone time.
Monday 22nd October: We'll walk our way through CBD Adelaide, it's not just a city of churches, enjoying breakfast along the way. We'll be finished by noon if you want to arrange your own
transport out to the airport. Or you may decide Adelaide has more for you.....
An itemised itinerary will become available closer to the trip. This will be a 3 night, 4 day excursion with accommodation, transfers and some meals included. Flights are not included.
Minimum numbers will apply for this tour to run but our maximum will be 10 people.
